Hi,

This may be a stupid question.....Can ppc software be used on a pc without having a ppc?Is there an emulator for running the software

Emulators do exist, however they normally come as part of very large Software development kits available from Microsoft and other manufacturers. This would be your only option, and probably would carry with it a bunch of stuff you don't want/need on your computer. I'm not aware of any software that just provides PPC emulation, although if others are, it sounds like an interesting product.

Anyone Have any suggestions?

Actually there aren't any emulators that do what most people are wanting. The one that is a part of Visual Studio only allows you to run applications you are developing. It takes the source code you are working on and interpretes it to run in the desktop emulator. That code wouldn't run on a PPC, and code compiled for a PPC wouldn't run in the emulator. So you can't buy a title from Handango and run it, even if you had the VS emulator.
