Hi there!
I'm completely new to Pocket PC's having just a few days ago traded in my Palm Vx for an Ipaq 3870. Am very pleased so far but there's one little annoying problem that I can't seem to sort out and I'd appreciate any help and advice anyone here can offer.
I want an alarm/alert to sound when a reminder pops up. I've gone into sound settings and set the tick box so that a sound should play when a reminder pops up (and also that the light should flash - which it does). However the sound doesn't play when a reminder pops up. There is no problem with the device playing sounds, it just doesn't seem to play them for my reminders even though I've set it to play.
Another strange thing I noticed was that there is a little 'play' button beneath the alert type drop down menu which appears to be there to allow you to play a sample of your chosen alert. However no matter what alert sound I chose I cannot get it to play using that button.
Any ideas?
