I had Bug ME before with Windows Mobile 2002, but now that I have Windows 2003 SE on my hp 4705 it no longer alarms for reminders. It also won't allow me to quickly access a new note using the "new" drop down menu oon the bottom of the Today screen, even though it is listed in the menu. The developer says "sorry, we'll try to address this in the next release" and Handango won't refund even though it does'nt do what is advertised. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, can you fix it? Thanks.

Bug Me was a dog app from a non-responsive developer. It's good they let it die w/ PPC 2002. I'm not bitter, just honest :) I've used apMemo+ since it came out. It may not be perfect but it's close. There's a pay version with more bells & whistles. See: http://www.apsoftsystems.com/apmemo/index.htm . Free version at the bottom of the page.

Take a look at Stoptime, which may be doing much of what you want. I use it on 2000 and 2002 PPCs. It is freeware.

I used StopTime for a LongTime. It seemed the longer note you had to write the slower the app responded to additional writing strokes. It also missed a critical alarm once and it was on PPC 2002 which did not have inherent alarm missing bugs in the OS. Just an observation. But StopTime is free and does a lot of other things too. I also had to let the PPC time-out to sleep for count-down alarms to sound. I found myself having to accomodate the small oddities of the app so I switched.
