It was an instant hit, and was quickly brought over to the United States. To this day, countless numbers of remakes have been made for many different platforms. There are several space invaders based games for the pocket pc, but only one truly shines and stands out among the bunch. The game I am referring to is Zeoneo's Invasion. Naturally, the premise of Invasion is to destroy the alien invaders attacking earth, with your ship (the SF-7 Barracuda)."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20050127-PocketGamerInvasion.jpg" /><br /><br />The screenshots in the review are certainly impressive-looking! Has anyone played this game?

Looks more like Galaxian and Galaga than Space Invaders but that's just me. I prefer exact remakes than someone's cloned version.

This was made with the Amiga DE. It has very nice graphics and sound, but from time to time the game will skip [EDIT: See my post below] a few frames (I have a 400 MHz XScale PPC too). You can turn of some of the special effects and the frame skipping is minimized. They may have a newer version available, I've had my copy for many months now.

Either way it is a fun way to kill time.

The review copy I was given was version 1.2

I experienced no slowdown whatsoever :!:

I used to own a toshiba e355, and I found it terrible for gaming. It lagged in virtually any pockpet pc game I played, along with having major sound issues.

Sorry guys the frameskipping turned out to be caused by a visual task switcher I was running on my Pocket PC. When I switched it off the game was perfectly smooth. Thanks to Alpha for making me go back to find the source of the problem.

This is a very nice game.
