This software allows you to quickly deploy your business solution onto a huge number of Pocket PC devices. Only one device configured in full, the rest are subject to clone. The solution support becomes now as simple as never before. Your employees can quickly repair the software crashes by simple inserting a storage card with a self-extracting self-starting clone image on it."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.handango.com/include/pictures/89216/s01.gif" /><br /><br />Device deployment can be a tricky business - at one point I was responsible for 80 Pocket PCs going on tour across the US, and backing up/restoring them was a tricky task. Spb Clone is a solution that would have come in handy! [Affiliate]

I like the fact that the license is a fixed price for an unlimited number of devices unlike Sprite Clone (http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/sprite_clone.html), but US$300 is going to be pretty hard for some businesses and organizations to swallow if they're only supporting a small number of devices. For large numbers of devices (more than 300 or so), Spb is far more affordable than Sprite Clone, which costs US$100 for every ten devices up to 50. (To get pricing for a license for more than fifty devices, you must request a sales quote.)

In terms of features, manageability, etc., it would be interesting to see a side-by-side feature comparison of these two products.

I wonder how fast it is compared to Sprite...which is really quick.

It's reasonably good. I had been beta-testing Spb Clone for a while, and of all the cloning I did, the performance was solid.

I have tried to use Sprite Clone Evaluation version and found the PC Manager of Sprite Clone is really handy. It provides me a very friendly user interface and very easy to configure the settings for the backup and restore. In addition, you also can setup a Scheduled Restore through Sprite Clone PC Manager. Moreover Sprite Clone also gets some attractive functions such as the Post Restore and also the ROM Upgrade Mode...
