Does anyone know where the audio driver support hangs off of. I want to query a CE device and obtain which codecs they support. For example PCM, Mobile Voice, GSM 6.10, ADPCM etc etc. Without going through each driver id from mmreg.h and querying it there must be something common to examine or call to figure this out.
Note in PPC devices you can see all of the valid recorder input formats off of the settings input screen. This is where the end user selects the voice recording format.
