ipaq 3950: charging circuit dead, question:

Hello, my ipaq 3950 charging circuit is dead, impossible to charge the baterry with different cables (amber light stayed off)... Almost battery is not totally empty, ipaq works fine...

My question is this:

- is it possible to charge the battery by connecting it directly to charger, so i wouldnt have to change it. Does anyone have the wiremap for me to do this kind of cable ?

Directly, I woulnd't connect the battery to the iPAQ charger because Li-Ion/Poly batteries are charged at 4.2V, while your PS emits around 5 Volts (if not more!). Ypu'll need to use at least a voltage regulator.
