I am using Ipaq 4150, no GPS built-in.

I am think if there is any GPS device which can work outdoor, and can be plugged into Pocket PC / laptop PC and enable these "computers" to read the GPS info?

I don't need this device to be built-in, if it can work on charged batteries then it is good enough.

Get a bluetooth GPS.

If you want compatibility from PDA to PPC and you want neither to be "teachered" the only solution is to go bluetooth. The nice thing about this is you can lea ve the GPS unit in your car take the PPC or laptop out with you when you get back in the car just make sure your connected.

A;ll bluetooth GPS units come with their own power supply and different models have different time running batteries. They are small enough you can take with you in a pocket or something too.

As far as enabling them to use the info you have to have the correct GPS software loaded on the PDA or laptop.

Just a quick pricegrabber link (http://pocketpcthoughts.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php?page_id=522&sortby=popular-&vendors%5B%5D=0&popup1%5B%5D=0&popup1_attr_id%5B%5D=1073&popup2%5B%5D=0&lo_p=0&hi_p=0&form_keyword=bluetooth&sortby=priceA), I've been looking at BT GPS units as well. I'm still a little inexperienced in the field, so I'm not sure the pros and cons of each, but that's where you can go to get an idea of the basic models out there.

Or...

Go to a specialized site with a whole lot of GPS info like
http://www.gpspassion.com

You can find some pretty good deals here:
http://www.buygpsnow.com/

Many GPS units are made as unnamed devices and repackaged with different brand names. The one I just ordered is the AVL brand, which is identical to another made under the iTrek brand. So, generally, reviews of the iTrek apply to the AVL.

Anyway, gpspassion.com has forums with an active user base. Good place to ask questions and get even more confused, but at least you'll get a better idea of what questions to ask.

One caveat on the GPS included in the buygpsnow.com deal (AVL BT-15 gps). I just got mine and the power adaptor has the wrong plug for the socket in the GPS. I'll post when I hear back from buygpsnow.com about resolving this issue and actually try it out.
