I wonder if you could advise on the following!

I backed up my system recently and now a file called "SYSTEM HEAP ...48.0K" has appeared in my documents and upon tapping it to open it I get message "System Heap is not a valid pocket PC application"

I am not sure what this is, and if I should delete it.

I have a HP RX3715 pocket pc.

Am a bit new to pocket pc hence my query!

Thanks

I don't think anything important. Definitely not a system / backup file - therefore, feel free to delete is. It MAY be a backup log - backup programs often create logs. May be one of them. You can check it out by e.g. peeking into it with Total Commander or Resco File Explorer.
