Hello ALL

Is there a way to show Tasks & upcoming appointments on the Today Screen that take place longer than 7 days in the future? My Today Scrren will only show Tasks and Appointments up to 7 day ahead. Is there a way to extend this. I've looked everywhere but I can't find any settings to change this.

Thanks Kym :?:

Hi kmoulds, welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts. :)

The default today plugins are a little lacklustre in features. If you want great PIM today plugins, you can try Calendar+ (http://www.mohairsofa.com/) for your appointments, otherwise there is also PocketBreeze (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&productId=95186&sectionId=0&catalog=30&topSectionId=-1) or PIToday (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&productId=94252&sectionId=0&catalog=30&topSectionId=-1) for both tasks and appointments, among others.

tAgenda is also freeware, very configurable and you can make it much nicer looking than the screen shots on the home page - just remember to do a soft reset to see any config changes on the Today screen:

For a free program, Tagenda is a darn good one.

I'm an Agenda Fusion user, but tempted to try PocketBreeze. Anyone here already used both and able to offer views on how they compare please?

One part of me likes the versatility of major programs like Agenda, yet another pines for simplicity. If only the built-in PO applications were just a bit more refined, I'd be tempted to stick with just those!

Agenda Fusion and PocketBreeze aren't intended to replace one other. They're complements. One is a PIM suite, the other is a PIM today plugin. What I would do is download a trial of PocketBreeze, and see how it interacts with Agenda Fusion. I'm sure you'd like it.

Duly done! I'll report back on my views of it in a few days.

Sure! You'll definitely be impressed. Pity you missed the giveaway (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34997) we had a few weeks ago. :|

Not sure I yet know how to use it fully, or whether I'll find it a redundant luxury on top of Agenda (which itself has a useful 'Today' view). But looks good, is relatively inexpensive, and clearly has a strong following here, so I have gone ahead and paid up.

Now waiting for a registration code; always find that a bit irksome - I reckon it should be provided as promptly as my credit card is debited, i.e. immediately!

I used tAgenda for quite some time - it's very good. However, I find for my needs PocketBreeze is far better, and the price is (to my mind) quite reasonable for what it does. I also have Pocket Informant as the "back end", but I find I don't use it very much apart from the features that integrate with PocketBreeze. For example, I'll go several days without opening PI apart from creating a new task or appointment and exiting. I'm tempted for speed reasons to tell PB to use the built-in PIM and stop running PI in the background, and only open it when I want to see a month or week view.

However, normally my schedule is so busy I don't WANT to look at it. ;)

I understand the feeling, though mine took only 1/2 day.

Hi Terry :)

Actually I agree with you, and our servers usually email the key within 10 minutes (they run on a 10 minutes cycle and we remove them for eight hours during the night for backup purposes).

If you still didn't received your key from us, most chances that our welcome email with your information was blocked :( (unfortunately this happens in about %2 of purchases). To solve this, we also have accounts on Yahoo and each time a user email us that he didn't got a key we go right away and email it to him through our personal Yahoo account (this always works :) ).

So if you still didn't got it, please email us to [email protected] and I'm sure you will get it in no time.

I'm really sorry for the trouble.

And of course, I hope you enjoy PocketBreeze and happy with your purchase :D
