I can't access any of three SD Cards that I own with my iPAQ h2215 using File Explorer. I can access my CF Cards. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

I am just about to send my 2210 in for a new SD card reader. I had tried 3 different cards but none were read but my CFs were. Interesting the active help line asked if I was placing the SD card in the correct slot and not the CF one!!

Write protection was my first guess, but now it just seems like the SD card ready in your 2210 is broken. so yeah, i guess a good idea would be to send it in. hope it gets fixed

65Stang, if none of the aforementioned work, what ROM version are you running on your h2215? Here's (http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/locate/105_5722.html) the software support page of the iPAQ h2215.

Sorry to hear the about the SD reading problem, I has a 2210 and had to send it in twice for exact the same problems, both times the m board got replaced.
Great unit, but the SD reader part really sucks.

Um you need to do some HP surfing and get the following -

If your running ROM 1.00 then you should do a Rom 1.10 update - This will wipe out all installed files/apps so do a backup.

After you are done with that you then have to apply an SD initilization patch. This was released just last month about 2 weeks after my warranty ran out. Luckily this fixed my SD initilization problem I have also provided links to both items below.

Note that the HP person said the SDIO patch DOES fix standard SD card browsing, app installing, and locking up. The Technician said while patch 1.10 is not "required" its a good idea.

ROM Update 1.10 - http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/handhelds/us/download/20498.html

Thanks PDANewbie, but I tried all of those which is why I had to send it back. 3 days from door to door and I got it back. Haven't got an SD card here so will have to wait a couple of days to test the slot but I was impressed with HP(UK) service.
