WMP9 Skins

I put a couple skins in the PROGRAM FILES\WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER\SKINS folder and nothing happens. WMP doesn't show them in the chooser, neither does the old skin chooser app from Microsoft. Any ideas?

Are you currently running WM2003 or WM2003SE?

There's a chance that these skins you're adding aren't compatible with your version of WMP since the WM2003SE adds support for "extended" skins due to the changeable orientation of the display. If I may ask, what's the source of these skins?

Different places, including Microsoft. Any site you would suggest? Is the SKINS folder the correct place/installation?

Try placing in the Windows Media Player directory. It should work fine without putting it in a Skins directory. But each skin should be extracted and in their own folder.

For example, \Program Files\Windows Media Player\"Skin Folder"

Well unless it's the fact that the skins may not be compatible with WM2003SE, have you considered giving your Pocket PC a hard-reset to see if that solves anything? No one likes a hard reset, but if worst comes to worst, and you don't mind doing it... ;)
