I have a Compaq Ipaq 3635 with a wireless card. When viewing certain web sites, I cannot see certain things on the web site that I can on my desktop. It seems to be sections that have been written in Java. How do I view these sites on my Ipaq? Is there something I need to download? Where can I get it,... for free if possible.

Thanks!

You will need to install a Java module on your Pocket PC. NetFront have a browser/Java package which you can find here (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&productId=92938&sectionId=0&catalog=30&topSectionId=-1) for Pocket PC 2002 and here (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&productId=92931&sectionId=0&catalog=30&topSectionId=-1) for Windows Mobile 2003. Alternatively, IBM also have some sort of Java module you can install but I haven't tested this out yet so I'm not sure how well it functions at the moment. There's also the old Jeode JVM you can have a look at.

the IBM one is very good, but technically, you'll have to be very good to get it to run on your PPC. I was very close. and that was as close as I got to getting it to work. Check out Jeode for Java, that I think was given by esmertec, until they got bought out. But searching for it may bring up some results.

How about if you are running an earlier version than ppc 2002? I am running ppc 2000.

Thanks!
