IPAQ 4700

We recently have used the IPAQ 4700 in a new product. After using the speaker for tone feedback for a number of days the speaker fails. We took one apart and apparently the speaker is open. Either the audio circuit in the IPAQ is overdriving the speaker or we are doing something wrong..............comments anyone?

you should get a replacement unit :)

My first iPAQ 4700 was replaced for that very reason. I had sound through the earphones but not the speaker.

that's so unfortunate. Looxs like HP may loose a customer. 0X
