The smartphone builds on the success of the SPV M1000 by offering customers an integrated slide-out QWERTY keyboard making it even easier to quickly reply to emails and text messages. The SPV M2000 is the sixth Orange smartphone to use the Microsoft Windows Pocket PC platform... Accessing the internet, company systems and email is possible through wireless LAN or GPRS. Customers can choose the best connectivity method to meet their needs with the use of Bluetooth, infrared, SD Card or USB cable to transfer data between devices."</i> <br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/spv_m2000_lge2.gif" /> <br /><br />I actually saw the M2000 in the Orange shop on Saturday, but when I asked about availability they said it would be obtainable in January. You can find more details at the <a href="http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/handset/spv_m2000/detail">UK Orange Website.</a> Don't you just love those Pocket PCs with embedded phones!

Technically I beleive it's a 2.5G phone. :D

The T68i is a very nice phone indeed. I would have liked to own one. Never mind, I'm getting a new SPV C500 on Saterday. It'll be a weekend phone only though.

Right. :D This is of course a rebranded "HTC Blue Angel" and is also known as the MDA III, O2 XDA IIs and indeed the iMate PDA2K. Picktures with the keyobaord extended are here (http://www.smartphones.org.uk/smartphones/SPV-m2000.htm).

Oh yeah I knew it was a 2.5G phone, I just got excited about the new 3G phones on the site.

Let me know how the C500 is. I would love to get one, but I am saving for a new kitchen.

Did you see this: 3G phones 'bad value' says Which? (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4059753.stm)

I can't wait for 3G PPCs.

I bought an SPV M2000 from Mobileshop on Friday, was delivered on Saturday, very nice it is too, although there are a few things that are a little annoying, maybe post my bugbears soon

8O OK. Orange did tell me January, as did Carphonewarehouse. Guess you can get hold of them now then. :)
