Hello, everyone!

Two things for you this go around:

*************************************************
KnowBetter Ebookstore Is Open!
*************************************************
Just a reminder that our KnowBetter Ebookstore is open for business at http://store.knowbetter.com . We are a Fictionwise affiliate, so if your titles are available for sale there, then they are also available for sale through our store. As we try to champion the cause of independent publishing whenever we can, we hope that those of you who do not sell through your site will encourage your authors and customers to make their purchases through our store. We keep only a small percentage of every sale, but it all goes towards continued promotion of your titles via things like our Forums, Ebook Directory, Reading Lists and so forth. It's just one way you can help our site continue to help you! Kelly and I have some plans for the first part of the year for further development of the promotion of indie titles that we're very excited about, and we'll definitely keep you posted. Therefore, any funds we can get to help us develop these is always helpful. Currently, we link all of our reviews and Reading Lists (whenever possible) to their entries in our ebookstore, but I do want to stress that having the ebookstore in NO way influences what we review or what is included in the Reading Lists. We appreciate all of your support.

Call For Reading List Titles
*************************************************
Time for another round of Reading Lists! As always, see if you can fit your catalog into the theme, and if you have to push it a little that's fine too! These Lists have become one of the most popular items on our site, and have really grabbed a lot of attention. We will also be doing press releases on our Special Series when we do those, and will be cross-promoting the list even more than we have. As always, your participation is needed, and it's excellent FREE advertising for you when your titles are included...so why not take a few minutes and see what you can contribute? Remember to try and have your nominations into us a week before the publication of the list to [email protected] .

December 7th: Charity Begins At Home (titles where proceeds go to charity, books about charities, donations and donating, etc.)
December 14th: Snow And Ice
December 21st: The Presence Of Presents (books having to do with or about gifts/presents/gift-giving, etc.)
December 28th: If I Could Do It All Over Again (regrets, New Year's Resolutions, etc.)

SPECIAL SERIES: MINORITY FICTION AND NONFICTION

These are based around the accepted minority classifications per most college libraries, courses and bookstores. We need to limit this series to six entries, and may repeat this series with new classifications at a later date.

January 25th: African/African-American

Once again, thank you for all of your support!
