Have had my XDAII for a good year or so now, all been fine syncing, etc (well just the usual random sync issues you get now and then).
Bought a new laptop this week, and I cant get the XDAII to sync on it.
It seems to make a connection, but then the phone indicates it's dropped (icon reverts to regular aerial) within 2 seconds.
Activesync continues to "spin" like its trying to connect, but nothing happens.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
As far as I'm aware the phone hasn't changed at all, and the software is the same as I used to use (I think). XP Drivers or something?

- Sony Vaio VGN-297XP with XP Pro SP2
- ActiveSync 3.7.1 (build 4034)
- connecting via USB
