Any Verizon News??- I need a smartphone for Verizon!

hey all,

I dont want to get any of the smart phones Verizon is offering, i have heard they will have an Audiovox SP soon.

can anyone shed somelight on what I should do? Im stuck with Verizon due to our company being on it.

there's always the treo600. verizon's motto seems to be "welcome to last yr"

jokes aside.. verizon seems to spend a lot more time testing their devices (esp their pda combo devices)

while i was not comfortable w/ the way that sprint handled my issues w/ the new PPC6601, i definitely applaud them for having the first treo650 and the first HTC Harrier devices in US.

rumor has it that verizon will get something similar to the PPC660x devices that Sprint has sometime in summer 05, possibly earlier (such as Q1 of 05)

Toss your Treo - it was too slow in the first place and it's based on old technology.

Ignore your iPod - use the included Windows Media Player to play your music. You can even use Microsoft Voice Command software to speak to it: "Play U2" and voila! The music starts! Your iPod won't do that. You can even play DVD quality movies on this devce.
