My old Pocket PC broke, and as a replacement the store is offering me either a rx3115 albeit for 20$ more.. but I can also take $450 in store credit (canadian). Which would be the best option?

I know that the rx3115 is newer, but I don't know which one I can pick up, as they both seem very similar. Does anyone with some technical knowledge know which is the better machine? On a side note:

Please note: This is urgent, as I have to go back tonight to make my final decision.

Thanks

You mentioned 2210 or rz3115.

2210, two year old discontinued line, WM2003 OS not upgradable to SE, known problem with side grips, only BT, SDIO and CF slot, 400Mhz, $380 at HPshopping

rz3115, newer HP design, WM2003SE, BT and WiFi, just SDIO slot 300Mhz, $349 at HPShopping w free 128M SD

Both are Q VGA. Those are USD but the 2215 is technically still more expensive than the 3115. Tough call. I think I'd lean towards the newer unit just because things change so fast in this arena, that getting an item that is already old isn't advisable, unless you get a great deal.

Thanks, I checked, and the credit I can get is equivalent to $378 USD, should I just take the credit, and save it for the new line of pocket pc's?

I'd take the store credit and wait a month or two to see if other options arise... (and I have a 2210 and love it, but I bought it when they first came out over a year and a half ago...) 8)

I hadn't seen your post ... I might see if I could somehow "trade" that credit with someone and pick up a Dell X50 or X50v...

Is the Dell axim x50 mid range a better model than the Ipaq 3115?

I think if it is, I might just take the credit, and see what happens

I think it is, but that's a personal decision for you to make...
