I recently needed to be able to turn on only bluetooth at a touch of a button so I created a new program. This is similar to SilentKnights WiFiPower, where it turns on only the WiFi, but instead this will only turn on the Bluetooth and not WiFi. It's called ATBluetooth and you can download it here:

It's 100% free, so have at it. I use it on my X30 and I also tested it on other devices.

What I did was: Installed ATBluetooth and then went into Start->Settings->Buttons and I mapped ATBluetooth to my "button 1". On "button 6" I have SilentKnights WiFiPower. Now I can turn on WiFi and Bluetooth independently from one another at a touch of a button.

It's quick, simple, and easier than clicking on the taskbar icon. Especially in my case where the app I need to turn bluetooth on in is taking control of the full screen.

Interesting Application, except on the Dell X50 it doesn't seem to do everything claimed. I mapped the ATBluetooth app. to Button 5 and
the default Wireless Power button is Button 6. Pushing Button 5 takes
me directly to first the ATBluetooth app and then it loads the "Bluetooth
General" page. I have to MANUALLY push the "Turn On" button on this
page to turn Bluetooth ON. Pushing Button 5 again first takes me to the
ATBluetooth app to "Disable BLuetooth" which then loads the "Bluetooth
General" page again; which requires a manual pusing of the Bluetooth OFF
button to turn Bluetooth OFF. THus the app seems to only streamline
to manual Button pushing; it doesn't do the job iteself for the Dell X50

Thanks,
