It's a new release and it shows a lot of promise. Weather To Go provides detailed 5-day forecasts of U.S. cities as well as information on the Sun. Best of all, it's free – so if you're looking for a free today plug-in to display updated U.S. weather, this could be it! I would be very excited if this application supported worldwide weather in the near future. :D

Question is whther these guys will update the program to support more features in the future...if so, will it remain free. Right now it looks like a good freebie substitute for a lite version of Weather Panel and PocketWeather.

It'd be nice if it had "TRUE" VGA support, but it still works fine for me in native True VGA 480x640. It just takes up the left half of the screen instead of the full screen like Weather Panel would. But it works and it's free so you won't see me complaining.

Well, it's interesting to see that this application uses WeatherRoom (http://www.weatherroom.com/). The vast majority of weather apps out there make use of Weather.com (http://www.weather.com/ target=).

I figure that if WeatherRoom supports international cities as well, we may see this application extend support to worldwide countries. Whether it would still be freeware is another question. :)

Wonder what is the plugin immediately after the Weather panel. Thanks.

It's Net@Board (http://www.tonaya.com/products/nb/index.php) - another Tonaya Technologies product.

NICE (and free)!!! I found one bug, and that is when I try and pull an update over wireless on my 4150, the unit begins the update process and then soft resets. I'll contact the vendor, but beyond that very nice. Updated fine in the cradle.

Oops - corrected - it isn't a wireless update issue, but rather an issue with Snoopsoft's dashboard v2.5. When I update outside of dashboard, all is well, but when dashboard is running and I update it performs a soft reset. Sorry for the bad data.

WeatherRoom (the site) has international support. However it's for cities/places with airports, and not all of them; for Switzerland anyway. Dunno yet for the PPC app.
