Setting up a new x30

I am trying to setup my X30 I just received the software seems to install well , but when I try to sync it tells me that oultlook is not installed (but it is). I have tried re-installing outlook and uninstalling active sync and re-installing it
but nothing has worked.

Could you provide more info about your setup? For example, what OS, type of computer, etc. Did outlook come with the axim? If it is outlook express, you'll have to use a workaround that I'm not familiar with.

When I first got my x30, I had Office 2000 with outlook that was my default program. I put the outlook 2002 update in (and needed the 2000 CD as well), and then had to go and tell the outlook on my PC to update itself ... run the .exe program. After that everything worked just fine. It isn't an ActiveSync problem, it is in outlook itself,
