Avantgo issues?

Has anyone else had issues with Avantgo today? I have not been able to sync with them all day? I get an error that says their server is temporarily halted for maintenance?! My last sync was last night around 6:00PM......

Seems it really is down. Happens now and again, don't sweat it, read yesterdays news again. Doesn't change that much.

Their main site is still up. Maintenance seems to involve just their sync server. I have also been getting the same unavailable response today.

I'd say for 2 days down time they could post a message on the front page of thier site.

They get a D- for that, way below average.

Looks like they're back up. And I agree that they could have posted something on their main site about the outage instead of leaving users hanging with no idea what was taking place beyond the cryptic server maintenance message that would get returned by sync attempts.

Yeah - not being able to access AvantGo was the pits, especially as I'm a news junkie. I went looking for other alternatives, and ended up trying Mobipocket's Web Companion. Check out my post (http://www.jenneth.info/archives/003529.html)about it.
