Ok, I can't make my mind up about which one to get:

The Loox 720 or the Dell Axim X50v.

I know some reviewers have actually tested both of these so I ask you: Which one would you buy yourself? Which one is zippier, most comfortable in the hand and most importantly: Which one has the better screen?

The following two links are for PPCT reviews of the X50 and the Loox 720:

Loox 720: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33456
Axim X50 (note this is not the X50v): http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33206

The best thing is to read through both of them and see which features are to your liking. But as a generalisation, the X50v comes with a graphics accelerator and VGA output, while the Loox 720 has USB host and a camera (which isn't great). I don't have either of these two devices so I can't really offer my thoughts, but have you considered the Asus MyPal A730 or the HP iPAQ hx4700 as an option? We all know why you need VGA Juni. :p

I was debating the same thing. I went with Dell and I'm waiting for it. Hope I made the right decision. I heard the 720 is GREAT!

It seems the Loox has a few issues as do all the new units... but the one factor that keeps me from looking at the Dell and Hx4700 is the small amount of ram... I believe the other significant thing is that the Loox has USB host capabilities... the camera could be a curse or a bonus depending on your situation.

The Loox is the most expensive unit available... but it has most going for it ...

If you want to ask new owners their impressions go to...

Thank you :).

No, I will not get any HP devices for a while (for reasons we all know).

The Loox is actually the easiest one to get here, but it shouldn't be too hard to get the Dell either.

I had a Loox 600 and it certainly had "issues" :D. So when you say the new Loox has some too it definately makes me look at the Dell with more interest.

I've read the reviews, but I was wondering if anyone has actually held both of the devices in their own hands. :)
