I've been considering getting a replacement stylus since the default stylus has gotten really loose in the silo - if I turn the device upside down it slides out without any problem, causing me to almost lose it a couple times. It would have to be a custom one for the 4155 - since I don't like the idea of carrying a seperate stylus.

I was looking at the offering from pda panache (http://www.pdapanache.com/) and the one from PocketPCTechs (http://www.pocketpctechs.com).

The benefit of the PocketPCTechs option is that it has a pen, but I'd like something that's a bit heavier than the default stylus and I'm concerned with the pen cap possibly getting too loose and ruining it.

I just wanted to ask what people's experiences were with these products? Also, are there any other brands I should be looking at?

I have a Panache custom stylus for X5. I love the heavier weight and a stronger, slightly rounder, orange tip :way to go: . I haven't used the PPCTechs' one so I can't give you a comparison.

The Panache stylus is not flush with the device. The 4155 stylus might be different. But I like it this way, making it esier to take the stylus in and out. The stylus doesn't sit loose but it doesn't sit tightly secured in its silo either. If I tip the device up-side-down, the stylus is in no danger of falling out. I try to shake it really hard, and it still doesn't fall out. But "shake it really hard" is subjective :) .

I personally do not want a pen/stylus combo. I am sure I would some day use the wrong tip on the wrong surface. If you are less absent-minded than me, go ahead  .

Hello,

Just received my stylus from Panache for my 4155 and I love it! I have used stylus from them for the last 3 years and they have never let me down. Heavy and it fits very well in the holder. Go ahead and get it!
