The current day and time can be displayed in both Digital and Analog formats. The Alarm view allows the user to set up to 20 different alarms. The Timers view offers 4 countdown clocks, which can be run simultaneously. The Stopwatch view will track event times to the hundredth of a second and complete with an unlimited number of split times. The Events view will calculate how far away a user-specified future event (e.g., the new year or your wife's birthday) is in months, weeks, days, hours, minutes or seconds. How about the exact minute of moonrise, sunrise or sunset? Your city not listed? No problem - just enter the latitude and longitude. Pining for your old Casio, Seiko or Citizen watch? PocketWatch has you covered there too. This application may have more functions than you could shake a metronome at AND it has a pretty face. Take a minute and download the trial version, and if you like it, you can <a href="http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&amp;jid=X86EA2118XC379F2B2B3XD54914D6969&amp;platformId=2&amp;productType=2&amp;productId=142842&amp;sectionId=0&amp;catalog=30&amp;topSectionId=-1">buy a copy in mere seconds</a> at Handango for only $14.95. Now, if this thing could automagically shift for Daylight Savings Time and were an actual WATCH, I'd be right on it!

As multifunctional and impressive as this app might be, alarms still will not function properly on the hp2200 and other? units which suffer from the dreaded WM2003 alarm bug!

'Tisn't one of those unless I'm overlooking it.

What makes me furious is that those d@m @ss programmers made stupid and mostly unuseful widgets like when you type ID it transforms to I'D, or type well which becomes we'll, etc. and yet miss important if not vital things like writing alarms functions that DON'T FUNCTION RIGHT!!! Drives me up the wall  :bad-words: 0X :microwave: :splat:  :soapbox: :multi:

Back on track, this app looks awesome, feature packed and versatile. Is the original Digi-Ana watch "wave-ceptor"-like? (i.e. exact time is radio controlled)

Off track again, this one looks like the developer's inspiration:

Not intended to be... but these new devices are actual watches and automatically adjust for DST per the poster's wishes.

Nice find on the eBay auction. You appear to be right on regarding the source for inspiration!

This is a pretty cool app and has some very interesting an useful features. I was using Spb Time for awhile, but I ma definitely switching to this program, not only are there more features, but it is over half the size of Spb Time!!!

OT Time:
The ebay watch is a second gen version, the third gen is available in Japan & China only check it out HERE (http://watch.citizen.co.jp/new/alterna/0407_alterna.html).

If you are interested in getting the watch from Honk Kong; easternwatch.com (http://www.easternwatch.com/citi.html) seems to be able to get them for about $155, plus they have other Japanese and Chinese watches for sale. I have not used them yet, but after I check my credit card statements I might take them up on buying the Alterna.

Spb Time has two advantages over this:

Skins

The ability to turn the unit off while Spb time has a timer or stopwatch going, without the timer/watch stopping.

True on the first one, however each skin is about half the size of the entire PocketClock program, so two add-on skins and Spb Time is now almost three times the size of PocketClock. I get what you are saying though, I do like some of the skins and the cool look of Spb Time.

I tested your second point and I found that I could start the Timer or Stopwatch, turn off the handheld, turn it back on and it was still running.

Odd... The timer kept running when I turned the unit off the last two times, but it stopped the first time I tried it. Now if it had skins...
