hi Fishie,
Selam..

Actually, this one is turning out to be much better than I thought I would be.. It has pretty much everything a Muslim or someone who is interested in Islam would look for. Even quotes & verses out of Qur'an.

I think it is pretty easy to find more of similar products, although I don't know if they will have everything this one carries, but check these out if you wish:

Pocket Hadith Library 2.5
http://trials.pocketgear.com/Product_images/5/5737/anim8.gif
Download (http://www.pocketgear.com/download.asp?product_id=13779)

I think this one is all Arabic, so it could be difficult to navigate through (I have no clue what most of the parts are saying) But if you know how to read the original version, it is a good source, however $20.

Delta Minaret 3.0
http://trials.pocketgear.com/Product_images/1/1103/minaret2.gif
Download (http://www.pocketgear.com/download.asp?product_id=2335)

Very basic and simple prayer times and other calculations w/calender.

Pocket Quran v0.96b
http://trials.pocketgear.com/Product_images/3/3356/ppcshot2.jpg
Download (http://www.pocketgear.com/download.asp?product_id=7544)

This one is Qur'an Only, and is in original Arabic format, good for those who wants to keep reading it everywhere and just turn it off and come back to same page when resuming.. and it's free.

The Holy Qur'an eBook 1.0
http://trials.pocketgear.com/Product_images/3/3993/Quran_ppc.gif
Download (http://www.pocketgear.com/download.asp?product_id=11124)

This is the English Translation of Qur'an for everyone to take advantage, although I feel it should be free, they are charging $5 for it. The best thing I love about this is that it is in Town Compass format, so it is very fast, and in db format, rather than s/w format.

Check out the freeware & shareware sites, also the paid sites like I found those at PocketGear, and you will find many more that will match what you are looking for.

Lastly, I think you don't really have to purchase those that just carries the translation, you can very easily download free Text file off the internet, from Islamic sites that are in the language you are looking for, and than just transfer that to you PPC or save it as eBook or Html and view in your browser or eBook viewer w/bookmarks. You may want to purchase the rare language translations, though..

Also watch out for incomplete or not accurate translations. Just view the author's site, reviews & downloads to be sure of what you're getting.

Take care. 8)
