I used to play Milles Bornes all the time on my palm. I have done a pretty extensive search and only found one version for the pocket pc and it is $15. Are there any freeware versions out there? If not, does anyone want to make one?

Oh my GOD!

What a GREAT IDEA. I can spend all my nights and weekends for the next month programming a fantastic Milles Bournes PocketPC game so YOU can save $15.

In any case, the only Mille Bornes, Milles Bornes, or Milles Bournes PocketPC game program that I could find is Pocket Bornes (http://www.micaceler.com/pbornes.htm) which is SHAREWARE that costs $15. Therefore I assume that this is the one you are talking about. Try it out and if you like it then BUY IT!!

There is nothing wrong with trying to find a FREEWARE PocketPC program as they are often better than commercial programs, but if there are none available then either TRY and BUY or WRITE YOUR OWN.

I myself am working on a Nine Men's Morris program for the PocketPC because the three programs that I have found (one FREEWARE, two COMMERCIAL) are all unsatisfactory. Common to all of the programs is their weak computer opponent.

The programs are:
Mill 1.0 (http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1115) Morris 1.0 (http://www.visualbyte.com/Products/Morris/Morris.htm) KSE The Mill (http://www.ksesoftware.com/showarticle.php?id=9)[list:bc7535cf8b][/list:o:bc7535cf8b]
My program is currently being called RHM Mühle. Will have to see if I release it with this name or maybe "rhMorris" or something else as a play on MY NAME (Robert H. Morrison). I want to have my first release the beginning of next year in time for the next Nine Men's Morris World Championship Match in February.

Good Luck on finding (or buying) your Milles Bornes PocketPC game program.

You are far to incensed over a joking comment. I think $15 is too much for one card game and so will not pay for it. On the palm there are a number of good freeware ppc games and wondered if anyone knew of one on the pocket pc. The statement asking someone to program it was not a directive but more a jest. I would program it if I knew how, but time does not permit me to learn how to program.

Your attitutude is not what I expected nor am accustomed to on this board.

There are two versions that I came across and both are commercial. The afore mentioned Pocket Bornes and Mille Bornes.
