My English teacher is Jewish--too bad she doesn't have a pocketpc!

Very interesting.

I've wanted something like this, but a little less heavy duty. I'd primarily want something that will just put in the Jewish holidays into outlook automatically.

I'd also love some way of practicing Hebrew on my PocketPC.

We just need some more Jewish Pocket PC developers :)

-Open Outlook on your desktop.
-Tools -> Options -> Pref Tab -> Calendar Button -> Add Holidays -> Checkmark Jewish Religious Holidays

I will try this program out. I have been using the PocketPC Jewish Calendar software from Tichnut (http://www.tichnut.de/jewish/windowscecal.htm)
They have a variety of free and commercial Jewish software for the PocketPC including a Hebrew word processor and a Hebrew vocabulary trainer.

I also use the shareware PocketGabbai (http://www.aardvarkideas.com/) today plugin and the free POC.ZMAN (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=5591) for quick Zmanim lookups. (Please note that there is an error in the Poc.Zman database for Chicago. I manually corrected mine.)

There is also quite a bit of free stuff for the PocketPC at JewishContent.org (http://www.jewishcontent.org/pda/pocket-pc/) in Hebrew and English.

Thanx for the links. I will try them out and this program as well.
May be a little too full featured, but I will try it out.

OK

Tzivos Hashem (http://tzivos-hashem.org/storytime/storytime.html) has some nice children's books in HTML format. My kids love having me read them a picture book on my PocketPC.

Chabad.org (http://www.chabad.org/) has quite a bit of free online content including these (http://www.chabad.org/generic.asp?aid=36685) formatted for the pocketpc and suitable for avantgo channels.

PocketYid (http://www.pocketyid.com/) hasn't been updated recently and many of its links are broken but it still has a lot of stuff.

SeforimOnline (http://www.seforimonline.org/seforim.html) has a very large number of seforim in PDF format available for free download (I've found these are not formatted very well for PocketPC but there is a lot of interesting stuff here.) They also have an English audio-MP3 shiur covering the entire Sefer Chareidim by Rabeinu Elazar Azkari (many many hours of audio).

As far as audio content goes, 613.org (http://613.org/) has a lot. Much of it is in realaudio, but there is some in MP3. The service is free but they appreciate donations.

TorahWeb (http://www.torahweb.org/torah/audio/audioFrameset.html) also has many free MP3 shiurim.

and let me repeat JewishContent.org (http://www.jewishcontent.org/) and its related sites including SichosInEnglish.org (http://www.sichosinenglish.org/pda/pocket-pc/) have a great deal of free Jewish content for the pocketPC including encapsulated e-books (with hebrew support), audio content and Avantgo channels. They have siddurim, chumash (in english and hebrew, with and without Rashi), tanach, tehillim, mishna, gemara and a lot more. This is my favorite Jewish PocketPC site.
