Which makes work on Pocket PC 2003 and which on Pocket PC 2003 SE? I've heard about Socket CF card working on Pocket PC 2003. It's important as I've just bought Toshiba e800 with WI FI only.

The best CF Bluetooth card for the e800 is the Belkin card.

The best CF Bluetooth card for the e800 is the Belkin card.

However, the drivers that Belkin provides are only compatible up to Pocket PC 2002. From then on, you will need generic drivers that are compatible with the card and WM2003/WM2003SE.

I would get the socket(no antenna or stub).

The drivers provided for the Belkin CF BT card are an older version of Widcomm. However, the PPC portion of their updated driver set for their PC Card/CF BT combo have been updated to Widcomm version 1.4.1 and these have happily worked on my e805 with both WM2003 and WM2003SE. The install routine for the combo drivers permits you to install only the PPC portion, so it is not necessary to install the entire set in order to update the CF drivers to be 2003 compatible.

I've been using the Socket CF card w/my e800. I've been able to bond it to my Siemens S56 phone to browse the web via GPRS. I only have two complaints - there is no headset/handsfree profile and there is the application that integrates with Contacts so you can click and hold and dial the contact doesn't work so hot.

Thank you for your piece of advice. One more important question-is there a headset profile coming with Belkin CF Bluetooth? This seems quite important.

Looking through the BT services set up on my e805, I do not think that it will support a headset. I may be wrong, but I have had no reason to test a BT headset with my device.

are there any cf or sd bt cards that support the headset profile?

Not to my knowledge -- unfortunately, Pocket PCs' audio drivers don't route audio through the CF slot at all, and I don't think any CF BT manufacturer has written a custom audio driver to work around this.
