Thanks to everybody who contacted me and offered to help me out! You're the best! I just wanted to let you know that this issue has been resolved and that my X50V is on its way to Europe - even as we speak!

Yeah .... that and the fact that Dell is not even taking orders yet in Europe for the X50 series.
