My mother really likes my pocket PC (Dell Axim X5). It's because it's so colorful and it has solitaire on it. Does anyone know the chepeast Pocket PC I can purchase, new of course, that will allow her to play solitaire with as colorful of a view as the Dell Axim X5.

The cheaper the better. I don't trust ebay or any of those places that could sell me a pocket PC second hand. It does nott have to have a SD , CF, Fast processor, Windows Mobile 2003, Tons of memory, bluetooth or wifi. It needs to do nothing but play solitaire.

Just one other thing would be nice. That is to sync up with my computer so she can maybe download her address book. But that is not a absolute necessity.

She wants a gameboy...??? Well if she is looking for a unit I would suggest a Hp1940... its a nice small package and you should be able to get it at a reasonable price.

I have suggested to buy one of those cheap toys R US solitaire hand units. But they don't have touch screens and are too hard for her to contol. They aren't nearly as fun.

I have gone to the HP website and those don't appear to be all that cheap. Starting at $280.00 american seems offly pricey to me. I can buy a Axim X30, 312MHz for 300 Canadian. But I would like even cheaper.

Today's front page has links for refurbished units (better bet than eBay) from $175US (Toshiba e400) to $219US (HP 1945 - Supplied by HP). That's about the best you can expect to find with a guarantee.
