I can't get my hx4700 to play WMV in full screen using the built in Media Player. The player only plays the video in the original encoded resolution. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I don't think WM will stretch a video beyond it's encoded size.

Pocket WMP 9 hasn't been upgraded to take advantage of the capabilities of WM2003SE.

A real alternative is the 'unstable' (that's a name-not a description, it's very stable on my 4700) version of Betaplayer. It really outclasses WMP 9, playing WMV files in full screen, landscape, you name it. It plays DivX and MPG as well.

Another plus is that it is free. It can be downloaded from http://www.corecodec.org

BetaPlayer is awesome. Can't play WMV thought. Did I missed something?

Check out the additional plugins compatible with BetaPlayer on its main page (http://betaplayer.corecodec.org).

The solution mentioned above works fine for normal WMV files, but I can't get Betaplayer to play streaming WMV video upon clicking a link in pocket explorer. Is it possible to play streaming content with Betaplayer?
thx :?
