I need to know this because I am contemplating buying the h47XX and this may be the deal breaker between buying the pocket loox 720 because that is a really competitive device, since it has a built in camera.

I wouldn't buy a vga pocket pc with any less than the 624mhz processor, camera or not. I've used the toshiba e805 overclocked and it's just not quite fast enough to maintain the needed extra power for the screen.

Yes, though I could do without the camera unless it's at least as nice as the one in the 37xx, but I don't think it is.

My original question was if accessories, for example the keyboard for the h22XX and 39XX, 55XX series could be used with the 47XX series, and if so which other hardware accessories are available?

Need to know. Thanks guys.

As long as the connector and accessory is designed to physically fit the form of the bottom of the 4700 you're fine. Any accessory like the Micro-Keyboard wouldn't work because it's phycially a different shape.

The Stowaway should work, but it may be a little wobbly. Interestingly, the 4700 cradle is a two piece unit that seems to be a semi-modular design change.

Personal experience here, Yes, the connector is the same. Unfortunately, the WM2003 driver for the HP keyboard dues not work in the 4700. Even worse for me, with the IR port on the bottom of the 4700 it will not fit in my Think Outside keyboard. Guess I'll be looking for a good Bluetooth keyboard.
