files too big?

activesync is stuck trying to sync my files.

are my files too big on the pda or computer?

What files are you trying to synchronise?

Are you referring to "Synchronised Files" or just other stuff like Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, etc.?

JUST the files...everything else sync's...

I Explored my PPC's files, and deleted any large documents.

Still no work! Me am sad.

Have you tried using another folder rather than the default one as the folder used to synchronise files?

Just to make sure. Are these files in the my documents folders on the PPC? Are you trying to sync them to the default folder on the Desktop?

The only time I have had a problem similiar to this was when I one of the files on my PPC had become corrupted - only found out which one it was through a process of elimination. Fortunatley I rarely sync files and do not normally have many files in the main My docs folders (keep most of my docs on Storage card) so it didn't take too long to find the culprit.

I had an application installed that for some reason had a file stored in the My Docs on the PPC and had it open most of the time. I only found this out accidentally when I uninstalled the application and my File Sync errors and delays went away.
