I never had the phone edition... but I don't think it has WI-Fi. Hence, no hi speed internet searching from bed... something I enjoy very much!

I could be wrong on this and that doesn't mean that the 6315 is better. I had one for a while an took it back.

the only reason i pick my 6315 over my last phone is because of wi-fi, bluetooth and the camara even though it dont work worth a dam.... they need to do something about the speaker sound and the processor speeds really do bother me!!!!!! I THINK THATS ONE REASON THE CAMERA DONT WORK LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO !!!!!!!

Buy a wireless router, and set it up in your house. :) Most units today cost less than $100, and some cost less than $50. I'm typing this answer from upstairs, wirelessly connected to the cable modem that's downstairs. ;)
