...unfortunately, I just spent all my money at Chapters yesterday. :cry:

Ah well, just thought I'd share it with PPCT at any rate! ^^ Anyone who lives in Canada (Ontario) may want to check this out:
http://www.factorydirect.ca/cgi-bin/product_spec.pl/CO0512:

512 MB SD-Card for only $79.99! They also have 256 MB for $48.88.

I really need that 512 MB; I almost cried when my friend showed me the ad today. <___<;; I hope they restock some time next month when I get my allowance. :lol:

P.S: This seems to be the wrong forum, and I could've sworn there was a "Good Deals" forum or something of the sort awhile ago. Can't find it anymore though, and this isn't exactly Buy/Sell on my behalf, so...if this isn't the right place, sorry! ^^;

[edit]
P.P.S: This is in Canadian currency.

Oopsies, fixed link! ;) Thank you for pointing that out, Adwignal! :)

That's CF memory, not SD :(

But this (http://www.factorydirect.ca/cgi-bin/product_spec.pl/SE0512) is SD, for only $10 more! :wink:

You not familiar with www.pricewatch.com ? You can get a number of generic 512M SDs for $50 (including Sandisk :idontthinkso: ). Toshiba or Lexar for $51. Kingston for $57.

Oopsies, my bad, wrong link! ^^; Sorry about that! It's fixed now...:)

Also, thank you for the link Sven, but I'm pretty sure those are in US currency...and for those who would prefer to avoid buying online as much as possible (like me), these warehouses are really not that bad! ^^

Also, weird...I'm quite certain it said $80 for the SD card on the newspaper. x.x I'm trying to find the ad again, but it dissapeared. <___< I'll post an update on it later if I find it. :|

It might've been a typo (on the newspaper) on their part though, since it stated at the bottom that they're not responsible for wrong prices or something of the sort. <___<;;

You guys should use Molsons or something instead of Dollars, so you don't confuse me, eh. :) I've always had pretty good luck mail ordering stuff like memory. I stick with reputable brands and dealers, and don't get the deep savings, but certainly better than even the warehouses. I understand though, it's a whole lot easier to plop a bad one down on the counter and glare at the sales clerk, than it is to deal with virtual tech support.
