Hi, I've run into a little snag with my 4150 now that I've started using wifi for network sharing.

My problem is that I'm always asked for a network logon password each time I power up my ipaq and my wifi establishes a connection. I didn't notice this problem at all with my 3115 while I had it, this problem has only surfaced on the 4150.

If I tell the prompt to save hte password, it doesn't seem to work no matter how many times I click Yes. What's interesting is the folder being shared on my desktop has no password to log into the network, so I'm vexed as to why it's asking me for one in the first place.

Any solutions?

Thanks

I suspect that is by design...... If you are running XP on your desktop, it will make your life a lot easier by adding a password to your login. I've found that sharing files is a lot easier with a password. Blank (or no) passwords seem to be treated like a wrong password.
