I just saw an iPaq 3715 at CompUSA.

I'm packing up my less than 2 week old 4155 and trading it in this afternoon. I know a camera/camcorder isn't that big of a thing for most of the PPC users, but is is to me. According to one review I read, it has the best camera in a PPC to date. I know thats not saying much. But, even if it's only a 1.3 mp. with a cmos sensor, it still will capture better than no camera at all.

I know I'm going to miss the 19xx/41xx form factor, but you can't always have everything... yet.

Wow, that is a really bad trade.

Other than the form factor what is the disadvantage?

Badandy,

I'm sure it's not the 152 mb memory you are talking about... I know not all of that is usable.

Perhaps it's the Samsung 2440 Processor at 400MHz vs. the 400MHz XScale PXA255 Processor that is used in the 4155.

The 4155 does have a better processor for videos but it's not a night and day difference.
Am I missing something? I still have time to take it back.

Benchmarks are from PDA Gold... http://www.pdagold.com/articles/detail.asp?a=199

Does anybody else have an opinion on this?

I'm already missing the form factor of the 4155. The videos on the 3715 have the same problem I noticed on the Zire 72... the audio is very much out of sync!

One thing I do like about the 3715 is the ability to have different functions for when a button is pressed and held down! Although the camera isn't anything close to even a cheap dedicated digital camera, it's better than nothing.

Are there other issues other than form factor and price? I'm totally unbiased on this. I'm just really interested in any and all opinions.

TIA
