The majority of the time when I put my Ipaq in the cradle, it will come up with an error that reads "Critical communications have failed to start. Try resetting the mobile device, then connect again." why does it continue to do this? ( and I have reset it..although I shouldn't have to do it this much.)

What version of ActiveSync are you using? The latest version is 3.7.1

Have you tried uninstalling ActiveSync and reinstalling it? Sometimes the most simple things in life turn out to be the most effective. And if that still doesn't work, let us know.

Okay, how is your cradle connected to your PC? Is it through a USB hub or a direct USB connection? Try using a different USB port and see if that works.
