microdrive questions

Can anyone provide any battery benchmarks that show the difference between using a compact flash card or using a microdrive ? I know that microdrive uses more power but just wondered what difference this makes to running time.

Also, are there any mp3 players etc still available where the microdrive can be removed and used in a PPC ? I know the muvo 4gb could be used for this purpose but apparently the newer ones cannot.
