According to one seller on ebay you can now buy the virtual keyboard http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5122094039&category=4706

Im not the seller or got anything to do with him. In fact i didnt even think this thing was ever going to be made.

Hmm, I'm not an eBay user so it won't let me ask the question. The original version of this connected to the thing you wanted to get text into, (PPC, laptop, etc) via a serial cable. There's no mention of cable compatibility on the posting. What does it come with?

That is a bit strange. I didn't think they ever made those (or were allowed to make them). :|

yup, last news was they were made but failed to get approval. Somone else is making one with a green light but the price was so high there was no way it could be commercial.

Either its crap, or somone has got their hands on these illegal models.

...or somone has got their hands on these illegal models. And wouldn't that make it illegal to auction it on eBay? Hmm. :| I don't know.

I would say a big yes. Its like selling defective lasers that are known to cause blindness. They didnt get approval for a reason.

If it was actually available then it wouldn't be "virtual". :D

Ah, missed that, though I don't know how. Let's see. I believe there are about 5-6 distinct cables that would need to be supplied. When I queried the original 'supplier' about cables, 1 was supplied and the others could be ordered. Guess this guy is more benevolent for some reason.
