Ok, so I turn my baby (ipaq 4150) on today, and what do I notice? A green line that stretches across the top of my PDA. I did a hard reset and it just doesnt want to go away. The line starts to the right side of the Windows logo, and continues across the screen. I installed Wisbar to see if that would remove it, but still no luck.....Any ideas? I am posting a screen shot here:

UPDATE: When I go into IE and full screen using Spb, The green line is gone! Does this mean it is not dead pixels?

If a hard reset didn't fix it then I'm guessing that it's a hardware problem with the screen or one of its connectors.

If it was a hardware problem with the LCD, it wouldn't show up in the screenshot...

Anyway, I reckon its SPB's battery monitor thing. I don't have a copy, so check SPB's settings for battery bar or something.

I noticed in your screenshot that the green line doesn't cross the Start button if it were a hardware problem it wouldn't do that. I vote that it's SPB Plus doing that.

Thanks for the quick reply!!!! I checked Spb website http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en and went to virutal tour. The 2nd screenshot shows my same green line. I hard reset again and the problem was fixed, however whenever I install Spb it comes back. It must just be their software. Well thanks for all your help!

It's a battery bar, I believe. If you don't like it, it should be capable of being disabled.

It is a Pocket Plus thing. It's called the Taskbar Battery Indicator and you can turn it off in SPBs settings screen. The visual presentation of the bar can be changed via themes it seems. I find it exceptionally useful. It tells me my battery status no matter what screen I am looking at.

Ya, now that I know what it is I do not seem to mind it. It just scared me when I first noticed it. I haven't used my PPC all summer then I start it up and install Spb and there it is. Well thanks for clearing that up with me!!! I have been out of the swing of things and need all the help I can get.
