Hi, I have a 3955, very happy with it, and I am thinking about buying a 512 mb SD card. It would be great to also be able to use that card on my next iPAQ. Are most of the new iPAQ's or other brands of PPC's being sold today able to still use SD? I am planning on keeping my 3955 for at least another year unless it fails. Thanks

I believe all iPAQs since have had an SD slot, and all current upcoming iPAQs are slated to, so you should be set. :)

Its the CF slot that comes and goes - some device have it other don't. All now have SD slot

I'd be surprised if a manufacturer EVER makes a device without an SD slot. Even if they were to come out with a 2GB RAM model, there will still be a need for removable memory and/or SD-based peripherals.
