I used to use Netscape as my primary browser a few years back, but, haven't used it too much if at all. I just received an e-mail to update to 7.2 and I was wondering if anyone really uses Netscape and if it is at all a viable browser? Right now I switch between IE and Mozilla Firefox.

There is no need for you to use it unless you also want to use its email and AIM. The browser is based off of mozilla, just like firefox.

Stick with Firefox. Both Netscape and Firefox are based on the same engine. Some people prefer Opera (http://www.opera.com) as well if you want to give that browser a go. Netscape is a bit overkill for all its worth. I don't use any of its extra features so it doesn't warrant me installing all its extra features. The last thing I want is a computer flooded with stuff I don't use. But Firefox is a solid browser. That's my #1 preference at the moment, and the debut of version 1.0 should bring a lot more features to what you currently see in 0.9.3.
