After going from my 5555 to my 6315, I find I really miss i.Task. Does anyone know of a good program that replicates it functionality (i.e. press button, it shows list of tasks, hold button, it switches?) I'm sure its out there, but haven't found anything in my searches so far. I never realized how invaluable that program was until I was without it.

You will want to check out Dinarsoft's range - HandySwitcher (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_2_2&jid=9EXD3BEEF1785552DX339D1B536462EB&platformId=2&osId=249&siteId=1&productId=85760&sectionId=0&catalog=30&txtSearch=dinar), HandyMenu (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_2_2&jid=9EXD3BEEF1785552DX339D1B536462EB&platformId=2&osId=249&siteId=1&productId=79935&sectionId=0&catalog=30&txtSearch=dinar) and HandyLauncher (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_2_2&jid=9EXD3BEEF1785552DX339D1B536462EB&platformId=2&osId=249&siteId=1&productId=84246&sectionId=0&catalog=30&txtSearch=dinar) are all very reasonably priced and do the job well.

In the discussion of task managers, WisBar Advance or Spb Pocket Plus are also good alternatives.

I've never used iTask so I'm not aware of its features, although I still think one of the above two that I have mentioned are worth checking out.

Check out GigaTask (http://www.gigatask.com/) basically this is the commercial version of iTask (the developers Thumbs Up software developed iTask for the iPaq). I also adds some extra functions.

I have used this software on both of my Jornadas and now on my Toshiba e755 and find it indispensable!

Wisbar Advance is the best task manager for ppc. It gives hight performance and a powerfull skinning engine. The best of all is the price: is freeware.
