Can everybody tell me what do you think of your hp 6315 camara...........i have been fooling around with the camara latley and i was wondering if its even a full mega pixel ???? also is it me or does it seems a little dark sometimes even in a lit room???? i notice even something new i didnt see about when i hit the big button up and down somehting called " compesentation exposure " comes up..... what is it for ?????

It's not a megapixel. It's 640x480. What's that... 0.3 megapixel I believe.

dam thats stupid.... how u gonna put something like that out..... what would it had of tooken for them to put a 1.2 on there.... hell they got zoom but it needs to be better zoom

I took the 6315 back because the cam was very disappointing. I now have a rx3715 which is less disappointing... getting better!

As it's been said before... don't throw away you dedicated digital camera just yet!

But I am much more pleased with the cam on the rx3700 than the 6315!

IMHO... any camera is better than no camera. Just don't expect to get ccd quality from a cmos cam.

Yeah - the examples I've seen from one of those two devices are among the better embedded pics I've seen. Usually camera/PDA phones make part of the picture reddish, and the whole picture grainy.

From the above pictures I'll guess it's the 3700.

Kati... just in case you might have been confused about the above pictures. The top one is from a 6315 (vga) and the bottom is from a 3700 (1.3mp.)

As you can see the colors and consistency of the 3700 are much better than the 6315... it's more than just the resolution. But I believe they are both just cmos sensors not ccd sensors as with most dedicated digital cameras.
