PPX software: Is it worth it?

How is PPX software? I like the looks of it, but I was wondering if there is any drawbacks to it. Is there any other software that's better? Anything that's free?

If you have the time... and inclination... the program you need to look into is probably "TodayPlus". It is free.. you just need to find it.

This is my current skin... and the pictures do not to it justice... it is in german and it does need to be translated... but it is impressive.
