SE & WMV

I upgraded my Toshiba e805 to Windows Mobile 2003 SE and now my WMV videos are playing back smaller than before and the fullscreen button doesn't make it fullscreen, still smaller. The videos are music videos in MPEG-1/VCD format and converted using the Pocket PC (320x240) profile in Windows Media Encoder 9.

How do I fix playback size?

Actually your question is how do you get a 320x240 video to stretch to 640x480. Sorry I can't answer that, but that has been discussed at length. Try searchng for VGA and Video threads. One obvious answer is to re-encode at 640x480, but that makes your file 4x as big.

nope! divx and betaplayer is working out to be a better option for me. sweeeeeeeeet!!! betaplayer stretches pretty well too.

i don't know about 4x filesize if encoding to 640. In my experience during these last two days. changing the resolution doesn't affect the filesize as much as the bitrate. and to get decent playback quality @640x480, u'd need pick up the bitrate a bunch. so in theory u'r right if u factored in bitrate
