Windows 95 was OS/2's backstabbing step-brother. OS/2 was originally a developed by IBM with MS. But like always, MS wanted full controle, so they created there own system with the know how of OS/2 project.

Atleased that's what i remember from the afair ...

No, kidding, it came up as OS X, which I've never used, but I've used FreeBSD which is at it's core...

(Compaq stated when I returned my Pocket PC under warrenty for a bad screen, that "The unit is NOT designed to go in your Pocket, and that will void the warrenty." - I said it had a strange name if it wasn't intended to go in my pocket...)

You are Palm OS. Punctual, straightforward and very useful. Your mother wants you to do more with your life like your cousin Wince, but you're happy with who you are."

Do I have to leave PPCT now?

That's very telling since I plan to abandon MS for Mac in my next upgrade (certainly before Longhorn!).

Don't. It is good for us (your cousins) to sometimes look back and enjoy how far we are ahead. Just kidding.

I talked to the author of this quiz, Brian Briggs, and have permission to migrate it into a PocketPC app. Seems like a reasonable way to spend a few days...:jester:

Charge for it? Never crossed my mind. Thanks for the idea!

Actually, I've been rather non-profit as I move from being a PC developer (13 years) to WinCE (hopefully). I still need to wrap up and distribute my Open Source YactCE update, based on a game written by Mark Gamber back in 1997 for CE v1.0 devices. It'll run on CE 2.0 and up. Anybody who emails me with a request for it can have it until I get the docs and stuff completed. Just tell me the platform (hpc, hpc pro, hpc 2000, palm size, or pocketPC) and the processor, and whether the device has > 4K colors or not.

I'm a month late, but I have to say it:

Slackware Linux!

My supervisor and manager would say they already knew I was a slacker!
